Matthew Venezia is an Associate in TroyGould’s Litigation Department. Mr. Venezia maintains a sophisticated civil litigation practice, enjoying significant experience with real estate and title insurance coverage related litigation, as well as privacy law.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Venezia served as Claims Counsel / Assistant Vice President for Fidelity National Title Group. In this role, Mr. Venezia managed a significant case load of real estate and title insurance coverage related litigation, including responsibility for the Company’s urgent claims matters in Southern California, Nevada, and Arizona.
During law school, Mr. Venezia served as a research assistant for Prof. Neil Richards, a noted privacy scholar, and has conducted extensive research in this area. Mr. Venezia also completed internships with the United States Attorney’s Office and FINRA, where he gained experience in the areas of white collar criminal investigations and securities regulation.
