Caelan D. Rottman

Ms. Rottman is a distinguished business litigator at TroyGould, specializing in complex business disputes. Renowned for her strategic, creative, and results-driven approach to litigation, she brings deep expertise in a wide range of issues, including real estate, entertainment, CFIUS, breach of contract, negligence, fraud, unfair business practices, and wrongful foreclosure.

Her litigation strategy is strongly influenced by her academic background in alternative dispute resolution. Ms. Rottman holds a Masters Degree in Dispute Resolution from the prestigious Straus Institute and has handled complex commercial arbitrations and countless mediations. Additionally, she has served as mediator in over 100 pro bono cases in California Small Claims Courts.

Before joining Troy Gould, Ms. Rottman worked as a litigation attorney at the Boesch Law Group and gained valuable experience working under a United States Federal Judge. This experience has contributed to her comprehensive understanding of effective advocacy.

Ms. Rottman is committed to community service and philanthropy, having received Pepperdine University’s Excellence in Service Award. She currently Co-Chairs the Dean’s Council at Pepperdine’s Caruso School of Law, where she was named Alumni of the Year in 2024. Additionally, Ms. Rottman’s language proficiency spans Mandarin, Spanish, French, and Italian, and she is also a violinist with the Los Angeles Lawyers Philharmonic.
